The latest spoilers have been released. And guess what, most of us were right! We finally have moved on to Kaido’s past. It will be so exciting to see it in One Piece 1049 spoilers.
Kaido’s past will add new layers to this man and the fight will slowly draw towards a conclusion.
The Whole Cake island subplot is going well so far. Reiju and Ichiji together might be able to defeat Cracker. But we are not sure about it. And if Katakuri shows up here, everything will fall apart for the Germa.
But most importantly for now, who set the fire to the book? Was it an insider? We will see.
We all wanted to know about Kaido. As we talked about before, Kaido used to be a man with dreams. He used to be jolly and hopeful. But something changed him, made him darker and pessimistic.
In this One Piece 1049 manga spoilers, that part has not been revealed yet.
Unfortunately for us, we did not get a look at Rocks. Just when Kaido was about to meet the legend, the flashback went on to other stuff.
This means Oda sensei is deliberately saving the Rocks reveal for later. He must have something amazing planned for the character.
The duo of King and Kaido is as lovely as ever. We see that Kaido has finally learned more about Joyboy. If Luffy beats him, would that make him Joyboy?
Interestingly, King declined the idea of Kaido losing a fight. Shows the amount of trust he has.
One Piece 1049 Spoilers
The chapter is named ‘The World we should aspire to’.
The cover story continues. Someone has set fire to the book and Niji and Yonji have escaped.
As he fights Kaido, Luffy is told that he can never defeat this foe.
We begin with Kaido’s flashback. 49 years ago in the Vodka Kingdom.
He was the strongest soldier in the nation, despite being merely 10 years old. 3 years later, Vodka Kingdom can’t pay enough tribute to the Tenryuubito and are worried.
In the end, the King decides to give Kaido to the marines and in return, gets the right to be in Reverie.
Refusing to be a Navy dog, Kaido broke out. He ran as a wanted man. Often, he would purposefully get captured to eat food. He was just too strong to be contained.
2 years later, on Hachinosu island, he defeated all pirates. That is when Whitebeard approached him and invites him to meet Rocks. He joined them and the Rocks pirates have become invincible.
Following this, the infamous God valley event happens. Garp’s name comes up. We see the Rocks crew break up finally; they were never a crew with much teamwork anyways. Kaido leaves without saying anything to Big Mom.
Kaido later meets up with Kurozumi Higurashi. She tells him about the upcoming state of the world and the importance of weapons. Kaido agrees with her.
We see Kaido talking about war and how it defines someone’s worth. Because eventually, humans resort to their basic instincts. Later, Kaido talks to King about Joy Boy and his arrival.
In the present, Raizo’s water slowly goes down. And along with that, Kaido’s flame clouds are finally gone. The CP0 agent is fleeing from the island. Sanji and Franky are helping others. We have a seen where Denjiro hugs Hiyori.
On the roof, the battle is on. Luffy lands a punch onto Kaido. Luffy tells Kaido that he wants to create a world where his friends can be free and happy and eat in peace.
The flashback continues to show Kaido and King. King wants to know who Joyboy is. Kaido answers that the person who will defeat him will be Joyboy. King retorts that if that is the case, Joyboy won’t appear.
The chapter ends with Momo making his own flame clouds to replace those of Kaido. They properly land Onigashima on the ground. Momo falls to the ground, exhausted. Kaido is deeply injured.
But more importantly, Luffy is slowly falling to the ground, his eyes closed from exhaustion.
These are only the early One Piece 1049 spoilers and the full confirmed scans are yet to be released. So stay tuned!
Is There A Break Next Week?
Next week is a break. We predicted this of course. It is Oda sensei’s personal break. This means the One Piece 1050 English Chapter will be released officially on 29th May 2022, closing out the month for us.
However, we will have so much time to thoroughly enjoy this week’s chapter.
