One Piece Manga 982 Spoilers:
So here are the spoilers for the upcoming One Piece Chapter 982.
Black Maria does not wish to find Yamato. She gives up on the search and stays with Kaido.
This essentially means that it is down to Sasaki and Who’s Who – the two ex-captains that King is the most wary of. However, this does not confirm that Sasaki or Who’s Who will find Yamato. It is a search and it needs luck. Maybe Zoro will get lost and chance on Yamato. Too unsure for now.
Ulti and Page One are out together. They come face to face with Luffy.
Ulti and her brother Page One have stuck together and are out. Ulti is in her usual mood and asks Page One for a piggyback ride; Page One refuses the ridiculous request. So Ulti sends him rolling and that is when he meets Luffy.
At this point, we don’t know whether the two parties know each other. But Luffy has no horns anymore and that can reveal his identity. They can fight then and there but the matter can go anyway. If a battle does erupt, we can see how strong these 2 are. We already know Page One is somewhere around Sanji’s level of power, from their previous encounter.
Kanjuro beats up Momonosuke and reaches Orochi. He informs him about the pasts events – how the plan to stop the scabbards have resulted in failure and how they are coming.
Fururokujo informs them about the arrival of the pirates and reassures them that if the samurai have come, they will have to face the full Oniwabanshu and will be defeated.
Momonosuke tried to cut the rope and escape but he failed. Kanjuro beat him bloody. Kaido remembers them both from 20 years ago. Orochi plans to execute Momonosuke in front of everyone, just like Yasuie.
This shows that now, the surprise factor is gone for the samurai. Luffy and Kidd’s chaotic actions have made the top brass aware of their attack. Now it will likely be a fair battle for both sides. The situation is harder for the alliance; still, they have some leeway because they are being taken lightly. However, Orochi is still paranoid. So he will go for the Momo execution.
This execution will break the spirit of the revolution and it will fail without doubt. That is why, we believe Luffy will stop clinging to the plan and let loose. He will definitely save Momonosuke, the alliance’s General.
Nekomamushi contacts Inuarashi. Law and the Akazaya hope for better luck for their allies.
We predicted earlier that Law’s group might have to face the Big Mom Pirates. That could have come to fruition had Marco not kicked them off. It looks like Nekomamushi will join up with Law’s group and infiltrate from the back. While Luffy distracts the opponent with his ruckus, the samurai can strike the beast pirates well enough. Kyoshiro and Kinemon will flank the enemy and that is when Law will attack from the back. This is an attack on all angles, thus increasing the chances of victory.
It turns out Neko and Izo and Marco didn’t come together. They just happened to meet. Marco asked Neko to discard the message he was sending earlier. The message was to Luffy, informing him of Marco’s arrival. Neko has an idea.
This shows how deeply Marco cares about Luffy. He will always come through for Ace’s brother. This interaction successfully closes all the threads that questioned how and why Marco appeared. It is all making sense now.
What is Neko’s plan? Is it to summon more allies or go through another route to surprise others? Tell us what you think in the comments.
Big Mom chases Chopper and Usopp in Franky’s tank. Prometheus finds Nami, Carrot and Shinobu and brings Big Mom’s attention to them.
We saw earlier that Usopp is driving the tank and Chopper is there too. Nami, Carrot and Shinobu got off and probably went to find Momonosuke. After that, Big Mom noticed the tank and Chopper in it. So now she is chasing it, because she is not in amnesia anymore. However, now Big Mom has to deal with two groups – either go for Chopper and Ussop or come for Nami and Carrot. Her course of action will be key in this upcoming war.
Kinemon’s group is in the water so Mama probably won’t notice. The two strawhats are driving the tank at the separate direction, driving Mama away from their allies. This gives Kinemon safe passage at the cost of risking Usopp and Chopper’s lives. What will happen to their group is completely up to Big Mom.
Kyoshiro meets Sasaki on the Left Flank. He imprisons Sasaki and binds him up.
Like Who’s Who, Sasaki is out to find Yamato. He chances upon Kyoshiro, or Denjiro’s group of Samurai. But they are all dressed up like Beast Pirate members, thanks to Kinemon. So Sasaki failed to identify them as enemies. He does recognize Kyoshiro but does not know he is actually an ally.
This trust is his undoing and he gets captured. This kind of settles that Sasaki won’t find Yamato, but maybe Yamato will find him. Or maybe Sasaki is strong enough to escape on his own. A battle might erupt at this point. We will find out more in One Piece 983.
