The Re: Zero spinoff was first released in Kadokawa‘s Comic Alive back in November 2018.
The series was well-received by fans of the show and discovered Wilhelm van Astrea’s role in the Demi-Human War and how he came to be known as the Sword Demon.

The spin-off was the first of its kind, which expanded on the life of one of the best characters in the series. Given the reception of the series among the fandom, some more similar series are likely to pop up soon.
Kenki Koiuta’s story focuses on the early days of Wilhelm, where he discovers the true purpose of his swordsmanship through his romance with Theresia. Unlike the original series, it lacks the horror elements which is a breath of fresh air for the fans.
With several great characters and mysteries to be solved, such as the deal with nine witches and their representatives, fans would love to read some more Re: Zero stuff.

Re:Zero − Starting Life in Another World is a Japanese light novel series written by Tappei Nagatsuki and illustrated by Shinichirou Otsuka.
The plot is based on Subaru Natsuki, the protagonist who gets sucked into a fantasy world on his way home from the convenience store. He gets attacked by a group of thugs and is beaten to a pulp immediately, but this girl from the fantasy world named Satella saves him.
