Rust-Eating Bisco, the crazy dystopian manga series, has introduced a brand new world to us. Bisco is the name of the protagonist of the anime. Don’t worry; he is a human and neither does he actually eat rust, only his name is inspired by the biscuit brand, not his character design.

Rust-Eater Bisco manga’s first part ended on 2nd March 2021, and it has already announced its second part! However, there will be a slight change of plans for the next part. Sou Natsuki is replacing Yusuke Takahashi to illustrate the manga.

Sou Natsuki revealed a new illustration on Twitter, and it has all the elements that we love about Rusk-Eater Bisco. The craziness in his eyes, his evil grin, and the superb movement depicted in the illustration are all spot on.

The fourth volume of the manga was the final addition to the first story arc. From the fifth volume onwards, the second part of the anime will begin! The search for the mysterious mushroom is still on, but Bisco and Miro now have some leads to help them.

Rust-Eater Bisco will also be adapted into an anime. However, a confirmed release date is not announced yet. Studio OZ will be animating it.

The original light novel is well-known, and it even ranked first in the Kono Light Novel ga Sugoi guide. The achievement boosted its manga and anime adaptation as well.

About Rust-Eater Bisco

 Rust-Eater Bisco is a light novel series by Shinji Cobkubo. It ran from 2018 to 2020. Its manga adaptation was released in the Manga Up! website from 2019 to 2020.

The story takes place in a world where a rust wind sweeps over landscapes and turns everything it comes into contact with to rust. Bisco, our protagonist, is on a journey to find a mysterious mushroom that can eat away the rust.

On his way, he meets Miro, who is also interested in this cure, and both of them go on a crazy adventure together.
