Sailor Moon Eternal Anime Film Part 2 Hints on Continuation with Just One Line
I was so excited when Sailor Moon first announced the two-part Pretty Guardians Sailor Moon Eternal The MOVIE anime film project. Part 1 of the film was supposed to be released in September 2020. But, like every other film, Sailor Moon too decided to reschedule due to Covid-19 pandemic’s worsening situation.

Part 1 was released on January 8th, 2021, and Part 2 saw a February 11th release. Imagine the fans’ surprise when the Part 2 premiere ended with a line in English that said: “To Be Continued.”
That one line was like a bomb drop for the fans and just about everyone was asking “does that mean we will get another movie?”
When asked about the teaser line during Part 2’s premiere event, Sailor Moon’s voice actress Kotona Mitsuishi, replied by saying she would love to see a continuation made soon.
Oricon even posted the stage event where Kotona was asked this question. She also gave information about the original manga having a 5th season storyline beyond the 4th which the two films eventually adapted.
Apparently, Kotona wants the continuation to be done as soon as possible just like we do.
The final film sees all 10 scouts including Sailor Saturn and continues the famous Dead Moon arc of the original manga. We will get to see all of our favorite Sailor Moon characters try to help Helios defeat Queen Nehelenia and take back the kingdom of Elysion.
