Bishoujo Senshi Sailor Moon Eternal Anime is the fourth installment in Toei Animation’s reboot of Naoko Takeuchi’s original manga.
The official website for the Sailor Moon franchise revealed a new trailer, key visual, and the cast members for the two-part Bishojo Senshi Sailor Moon Eternal anime film on Friday.
The first movie is set to release on January 8, 2020, while the second movie will be released on February 11, 2020, in Japan.
The new 60-second trailer features a transformation sequence for Sailor Moon and Chibi Moon and it includes an appearance by Helios, who sends a message: “Help me, chosen maiden. I finally found (her).”
It includes the new theme song “Tsukiiro Chainon” performed by Momoiro Clover Z and the main cast. Some members of the cast from the Sailor Moon Crystal TV anime will be returning for the movie.
They have also released a new key visual confirming the release date of the movies.

The films will cover the “Dead Moon” arc of the original manga. It will be about Zirconia who is in command of the Dead Moon Circus in the absence of Queen Nehelenia who is trapped within a mirror.
Zirconia is in search of the legendary Golden Crystal which will free Nehelenia and let her take over the Earth.
