The upcoming virtual event will be one of a kind as you get a glimpse of the fictional game-land in which SAO takes place. The event will look back at the series’ history and unite fans from all over the world,
The Sword Art Online: EX-CHRONICLE virtual event will be held from Monday, February 21, 2022, from 8 pm to Thursday, March 10th, 2022, at 11:59 pm. The event can be attended via VR, smartphone, and PC.
SAO lovers will be rewarded with a four-sided screen theater video experience and limited-edition merchandise. From t-shirts and tapestries to cool towels, the event will be filled with the merch that your heart desires.
Let’s not forget about ReoNa’s mini-live performance that will be available to stream. Over the years, she has provided the beautiful theme songs of SAO, and now she will soothe fans’ with her melody.
The exhibition will combine an immersive experience with a beautiful virtual space to captivate your attention. It is recommended to use a VR headset as some elements are VR app-exclusive.

About Sword Art Online
Sword Art Online is a Japanese light novel series written by Reki Kawahara and illustrated by Abec.
The series occurs in the near future and focuses on the protagonist “Kirito” Kirigaya Kazuto and Asuna Yuuki as they play through various virtual reality MMORPG worlds.
At the launch of the game, 10,000 people had connected themselves to the virtual reality of Sword Art Online. The plot takes a twist when people realize that they can’t quit the game.
Protagonist Kirito, a pro gamer and was present for the beta launch of SAO, starts planning to clear levels as soon as possible. Throughout his quest to finish the game, he meets many friends and also a love interest, Asuna.
The plot and the whole premise of the show are remarkably unique and quite believable in some futuristic sense.
