Sasaki and Miyano Film to Debut in February 2023 with Anime Spinoff
BL manga rarely get adapted into anime and receive a huge fan following. Sasaki and Miyano crossed that hurdle with no difficulty at all and is now a famous BL series.
In season 1 of the anime, the two boys finally confess their love to each other, making fujoshis swoon. Now that it is set for a movie adaptation, fans expect to see some more sweet and sour moments between the cute couple.
‘Sasaki to Miyano: Sotsugyo-hen,’ the upcoming anime film, will premiere in Japanese theaters on February 17, 2023. An anime short will also be screened alongside the movie that will adapt the ‘Hirano and Kagiura’ spinoff manga.
While no other information on streaming services has been revealed, there are high chances of the film being available worldwide a few months after its debut. You can check out its teaser video while waiting for the film’s release date.
The video shows some adorable moments between Sasaki and Miyano as Miyano tries to remember all their moments together. The film is called the Graduation Chapter, so it is most probably going to show Sasaki’s last year at the high school.
It is natural for Miyano to be confused about their next step as a couple, and there is also the danger of drifting apart.
While Sasaki and Miyano have become our beloved characters, the side story about Hirano and Kagiura also demands equal attention. The spinoff will show how they spend their time together inside the school and dorm.
