Sega’s Sonic Superstars Features Sonic the Hedgehog
As far as video game characters go, Sonic the Hedgehog is among the most recognizable. Over the course of more than three decades, the quick little blue blur has made appearances in video games, comic books, television, and feature films.
A new Sonic game was announced, and Sonic sped onto the Summer Game Fest stage to make the announcement. New 2D platformer Sonic Superstars features Sonic and his pals, and combines retro game design with cutting-edge visuals. The video also stated a release window of fall 2023 for the game.
Sonic Superstars is coming to every major gaming system. Systems including the PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and the Nintendo Switch are included.
There will also be a new cooperative mode in the game. There are four playable characters, and they are Sonic, Amy, Tails, and Knuckles. With local multiplayer, up to four friends can take the trip together on the same device. Yes, this includes everything you need to run a successful campaign.
Likewise, the fabled Chaos Emeralds have returned. This time, the Blue Ball and his ally will be able to use special abilities called Emerald Powers if they collect enough of these jewels.
The ability to create clones and to scale waterfalls are two of these skills that might be useful in finding one’s way through unknown environments. This game will also have challenging boss fights and a wide range of treasures to find.

A new Sonic the Hedgehog game, Sonic Superstars, is on the horizon.
