Previously, in Shangri-La Frontier Season 2 Episode 1, Rakuro Hizutome aka Sunraku, resumed his journey along with Aramis, Emul, and Bilac. They initially planned to help Bilac develop some new skills. They were more into assisting Bilac in enhancing her weapon-making skills. That led them to an abandoned land that was filled with remnants of an ancient era. As they headed further, Sunraku recalled his conversation with the Professor.

He and the Professor agreed to work together to uncover the game’s history. While the Professor started working closely with Arthur Pencilgon to learn more about Wezaemon, Sunraku decided to spend his free time on other pursuits. But unaware of the challenges ahead, the group later encountered a looming threat. That later led to a fierce battle between Sanruka’s group and Golems. To protect everyone, Aramis showed off her powers for the first time. Meanwhile, Sanraku used a new blade to fight against his foes. However, the battle was put to rest after Arthur and Oikatzo entered the picture, leaving their intentions unclear.
