The Ancient Magus’ Bride Drops Trailer for the 2nd Part of its OAD Series
After four long years of waiting, The Ancient Magus’ Bride surprised us with a special OAD series, which shook the entire fandom. While we were grateful for the new anime content, waiting for months for a 22-minute episode gets us all a bit restless.

The first part that came out in September 2021 mainly was an introductory episode but got us all so hyped up for the next ones. Not to worry because the franchise knows how to keep us entertained by dropping various teasers, trailers, and visuals for the upcoming episodes of the three-part series.
The Ancient Magus’ Bride unveiled a full trailer for Part 2 of its OAD series titled The Ancient Magus’ Bride: The Boy from the West and the Knight of the Blue Storm.
The trailer gives us a preview of the upcoming episode 2, where Gabriel tries to befriend the Mysterious Boy that only he can see. They read a story where the characters are similar to the pair, and we see some wholesome moments consisting of the two.
The stray horse from the Wild Hunt is shown under the care of Elias and Chise while they try to figure out where to find his master. All of these peaceful moments are displayed right before the storm of crisis hits and lives are put in danger.
As explained in the first episode, the Wild Hunt has gone astray without the presence of its master. Later, the leader’s horse is put in Elias’ care while Gabriel accidentally finds the leader who’s suffering from amnesia.
The Wild Hunt was being painted as a hostile entity when in reality, their rowdy behavior was because of their missing leader. They are known to spread death wherever they go, only to make space for new life to grow in place of rotten leaves and old plants.
Since both Gabriel and Chise aren’t the healthiest of people, they’re at a higher risk of being near the hunt, and I can only imagine how everyone will deal with it.

People usually think of The Ancient Magus’ Bride as a dark and gloomy show, which is not entirely true. The anime runs on themes of romance, magic, myths, and a slice of life.
So even if the trailer shows testing times and indicates the death of some characters, it’s most likely that everyone will make it through. At least I’d like to think so to calm my anxious heart :’).
