The Faraway Paladin’s official website announced that the anime adaptation is all set to broadcast in October 2021. They also revealed a teaser trailer, the cast and staff, and a new visual with the news.

The trailer introduces us to the main characters as Will’s monologue plays in the background. The intro shows Marie holding baby Will while gazing upon the destroyed barren lands.
It then goes on to introduce the other characters. First, it shows us Augustus, Brad, and Marie, the three undead who raised Will.
After that the trailer gives us a glimpse of Menel and some other supporting characters. In the end we can hear Will greeting the Goddess of Flames and Eternal Flux.
The official website also released a poster. It shows us Will setting on his journey while Grace Feel, the God who controls the flow of life, is shown in the background.
The cast for the main characters of the novel was revealed on the website along with the news.

The Faraway Paladin is a Japanese light novel series written by Kanata Yanagino and illustrated by Kususaga Rin. An anime television series adaptation by Children’s Playground Entertainment is scheduled to air in October 2021.
William is the lone human in a city of the dead. Born with vague memories of a past life in Japan, he is determined not to make the same mistake again.
But what does that really mean? Raised by a group of the undead, William must discover what circumstances brought him to this city and these people as well as what it means to not just exist, but to live a full life.
