The New Prince of Tennis: Hyotei vs. Rikkai part 1 was a trip down the memory lane. The movie kept us on the edge of our seats with increasing tension about who will win. The series is taking the best advantage of it by making it a two-part film.

Both the teams have faced each other for the first time. These two formidable teams in the world of Tennis have waited long enough for a face-off and the finale of the game will be shown in the second part of the movie.

The official Twitter account of The New Prince of Tennis: Hyotei vs Rikkai Game of Future anime has revealed that the film’s second part will premiere on 17th April. The U-NEXT online streaming service of Japan will debut it.

An anime television series animated by Trans Arts, co-produced by Nihon Ad Systems and directed by Takayuki Hamana, was broadcast on TV Tokyo from October 10, 2001, to March 30, 2005, spanning a total of 178 episodes.

The story centers around Ryoma Echizen, son of the legendary “Samurai Nanjiro,” who retired very early from his professional tennis career despite his undeniable talent.

At age 12, Ryoma begins attending Seishun Academy Middle School in Tokyo, Japan, and joins its boys’ tennis team.

The title of the series comes from Ryoma’s title, “The Prince of Tennis,” after winning four tournaments back in America before the events of the manga.
