Third Season of Bakugan: Battle Planet to Finally Debut in Japan

Sometimes, amidst the carefree and innocent days of playing Bakugan with my friends and betting the White House in the fights (just me?), I used to worry myself sick thinking, “Where exactly did these weird creatures that pop out this tiny ball came from?”

If you too used to look up to the sky with a serious look on your face, wondering about the same thing then I’ve got BIG news for you.

The third season of the Bakugan: Battle Planet series, Bakugan: Geogan Rising, where the Awesome Brawlers will band together to discover where Bakugan came from and fight for the future of Bakugan’s home planet, is coming to Japan.

The official Twitter account for the Bakugan franchise has announced that Bakugan: Geogan Rising will premiere in Japan on April 2, 2021.

Bakugan: Geogan Rising will be running for a total of 52 episodes of 11 minutes each, airing weekly. The show has already begun airing on Teletoon in Canada on January 24, 2021.

As the Awesome Brawlers still remain in the deep slumber, recovering from their last fight to save the world, Season 3 will focus on Viloch, a powerful Golden Bakugan, who is determined to sever the bond between Earth and Bakugan home planet, Vestoria.

Now, the Awesome Brawlers will have to stand up against this Bakugan, as without the bond, brawling will cease to exist. With the fate of Earth, Vestoria, and our beloved Bakugan on the line, the season is ought to be filled with a lot of drama and some of the finest prodigious fights. And I’m in for all of it!

About Bakugan: Battle Planet

Bakugan: Battle Planet is an American-Canadian-Japanese anime television series produced by Man of Action Entertainment, Nelvana Enterprises, TMS Entertainment, and Spin Master Entertainment under the direction of Kazuya Ichikawa.

The series follows preteens Dan Kouzo, Shun Kazami, Wynton Styles, Ajit, Lia Venegas, and Lightning, their dog. They are known as the “Awesome Brawlers” and make videos on the website ViewTube.

Eventually, they stumble across a race of battling biomechanical creatures called Bakugan. They soon befriend the Bakugan and begin to battle each other with them, all while defending their neighborhood from thugs who use the Bakugan for malicious purposes.
