Tokyo Revengers to Adapt Christmas Conflict Arc for an Exciting Next Part
After all his progress amounted to nothing in season 1, Takemichi will have to start from square one. In the next part of Tokyo Revengers, the series will show what happened after Takemichi was shot dead (again).
The upcoming arc will show us a conflict between Toman and Black Dragon. Will the future finally go as Takemichi has planned?
Tokyo Revengers will receive another anime addition that will cover the Christmas Showdown arc of the manga. The new trailer reveals the summary of season 1:
The trailer gives us a run-down of all major incidents of the first season. After Valhalla and Toman joined hands, Takemichi had a fast-forward to the future where Tetta Kisaki killed him after calling him “my hero.”
Toman and Black Dragon will go head to head in the upcoming part, and only one victor will emerge. Takemichi has a lot on his plate at the moment, as he has to altercate the future and figure out Kisaki’s motive.
Who is the Leader of Black Dragon in Tokyo Revengers? Is it Takemichi?
Not only will the series receive a new anime, but it is also inspiring a smartphone game that will be released soon.
A definite date has not been revealed for the anime’s next part, but I guess it will be announced in 2022. Crunchyroll streamed the series’ season 1, so it might also stream the upcoming part.
After the cliffhanger ending, I’ve been dying to know how the series will continue. Will Takemichi finally realize what he has to do? Or will he need some more tries?
About Tokyo Revengers
Tokyo Revengers is a manga written and illustrated by Ken Wakui. It began serialization in Kodansha’s Weekly Shōnen Magazine on March 1, 2017. It is an ongoing manga that received its 17th compiled book volume on May 15.
The story revolves around Takemichi Hanagaki, who learned that Tokyo Manji Gang had killed his only ex-girlfriend from back in middle school. After learning about the incident, Takemichi was pushed from the railway platform.
Landing on the tracks, he closed his eyes, accepting his death, but when he opened his eyes, he had time-leapt 12 years into the past.
