Andy wants exciting ways to die. After discovering Fuuka, he quickly realizes that she’s the jackpot he has been looking for. With her constant misfortune, he can try as many suicides as he wants.
The Undead Unluck manga is rumored to have been greenlit for an anime adaptation that will be released in 2023. A trusted source has reported that Studio David Productions is animating the series. The planning and production will be handled by UNLIMITED PRODUCE by TMS.
Although an official announcement hasn’t been made yet, you can expect it to be out within a few more days. Recently, many Weekly Shonen Jump manga have been receiving anime adaptations, and Undead Unluck is a good addition to the lot.
Undead Unluck’s perverted humor reminds me of Gintama, but I assure you it is far more explicit than that. Andy does not care what he has to do if only he can achieve death. Since he can’t die, he gets a kick from new and exciting ways to die. (Anyone else getting Dazai vibes?)

Fuuka was depressed due to her ‘unluck’ ability, but now that she has met Andy, she will also start questioning her sanity. These two oddballs need to stick to each other to prevent the bad guys from taking advantage of their abilities.
I hope the anime adaptation is officially announced soon, as I can’t wait to see the trailers and visuals for this wacky series.

Undead Unluck is a manga series written and illustrated by Yoshifumi Tozuka.
The story follows Fuuko Izumo who has the ability to bring bad luck to anyone she touches. Tormented by her ability, she decides to commit suicide but fate intervenes when she meets Andy, an undead person who wishes for the ‘best death.’ The pair joins the mysterious organization, Union, that consists of people like Fuuko and Andy and go on missions to given by a book called ‘Apocalypse.’
