As we reach closer and closer to our destination, we get more tense. You see, reaching Vinland is not the ultimate objective – Thorfinn must manage to make it a new home. What makes everything hard is Thorfinn’s pacifist methods. Vinland Saga chapter 183 might put it to test and fans are very excited.
We are quite unsure about how Thorfinn will handle the situation when the natives attack them! He wanted coexistence via trade. But the thing is, we trade with our allies, not our enemies.
You can’t just walk into someone else’s homeland, establish a village and start trade without even a shred of violence!
Writer Makoto wills that his series will have 4 sagas. Vinland Saga 183 brings us to the heart of the fourth and final saga – the Vinland Saga! Oh yes, it went War Saga, Slave Saga, Eastern Expedition Saga and finally, the Vinland Saga.
We believe this will continue for a couple more years at least!

Vinland Saga 183 Release Date:
Vinland Saga chapter 183 raw scans will be released in the May issue of Monthly Afternoon. As the name suggests, it releases one issue every month. We believe we can expect them around the third week.
The official scans take a lot of time; so most of the international readers depend on the fan translations. Translation for this series is fairly quick and so we can expect the English fan scans in the third week of May, 2021.
We will find the official scans of Vinland Saga 183 in the volume release. But that is months away from now. Nevertheless, we always encourage the purchase of manga volumes to support the creators.

Vinland Saga 183 might show us how these places act as proper markers and help the travelers who seek the real Vinland.
Has Thorfinn reached Vinland?
Back in those days, there was no surefire way to recognize islands in the sea. Maps weren’t that accurate and they didn’t even have proper compasses. Right now, Thorfinn and his crew are camped at an island, which will be named Prince Edward Island in the present day.
However, these men think it is Vinland. Vinland Saga Chapter 183 will probably show them their folly and bring along some trouble. This island might give our travelers quite a bit of trouble!
Why is Eyvar mad?
Ever since the beginning, Eyvar has wanted to force his way into Vinland. He and his followers plan to overthrow Thorfinn along the way. Right now, Eyvar wants to strengthen their defenses by building a ship.
But Thorfinn is more set on land cultivation. This makes Eyvar mad, as he thinks Thorfinn can’t care for the 40 people in his crew.
Thorfinn’s calm answer came out like cold rain during the heat of summer! He tells Eyvar about King Canute – he was a person who hated war and still does; and yet, he is forced by his position to engage his war every day. Thorfinn says that men loving war is an evil curse.
Vinland Saga 183 might take a short detour to show us the condition of King Canute. We haven’t seen him in a long time and getting to check up on him will be a great change of pace for us.
Will the island inhabitants attack?
According to Thorfinn, if a man who hates war is forced into one, he can be very dangerous. He says that Bug Eyes, who is no fighter, can become a tougher opponent than Eyvar, who is a decent fighter!
Thorfinn wants to avoid any sort of violence; but if the island has some warrior who is forced into combat, it can become a very sticky situation for the party.
We expect some sort of conflict in Vinland Saga Chapter 183. So far, the traveling is going very smoothly. We believe that the crew will run into natives, who might just attack. Then it will be Thorfinn’s responsibility to save the crew!
