Violet Evergarden: The Movie to Make Exclusive Netflix Debut in Oct

The go-to service for all Violet Evergarden content is Netflix. In its pursuit of expanding its anime genre, the streaming service has added many titles in its catalog, Violet Evergarden being one of them.

The post-war-themed anime with alluring animation and a beautiful story finally came to an end in 2020 with its latest film. After watching the protagonist Violet go through so much, all we wanted was the happiness that came to her eventually.

Many fans who missed out on this tear-jerker will now be able to watch it in the privacy of their room to have a last crying session over the story.

Netflix revealed that Violet Evergarden: The Movie will be premiering on the platform on October 13, 2021. The Blu-ray and DVD of the film will be released on the same day.

The company released an English subtitled trailer to announce the release outside France. The film will premiere in France on November 19, 2021.

The trailer starts with someone recalling some of Violet’s most remarkable works that she has done throughout the show. We then see her co-workers Cattleya and Claudia discussing how Violet still has feelings for Major Gilbert, and those feelings will one day be her downfall.

The whole trailer can make any fan emotional in under 2 minutes. We see a glimpse of Major Gilbert, who was presumed to be dead until now. The Major faked his death to free Violet of the life she’s known in the army.

Moreover, we see Violet finally moving on and saying goodbye to her known life and the time she spent with Gilbert. She’s looking forward to something new, just what her beloved has always wanted for her.

Netflix has recently added all of Violet Evergarden titles in its anime genre, and this movie will be the latest and final installment of the franchise. The company is expanding into the anime industry that has grown exponentially over the last year by bringing us some of the most amazing shows and movies.

This streaming giant has been doing it all, from producing originals to adding popular titles, and you don’t see us complaining.

The film will be a rollercoaster ride of emotions, and though I am not ready for the series to end, I am super excited to watch the movie.

Will Violet get to spend the rest of her life with Gilbert as she wants, or will she move on and follow Gilbert’s wishes? Only one way to find out.
