Fuji TV has recently announced new details about the highly anticipated anime “Viral Hit” (or “Kenka Dokugaku” in Japanese), which has generated a lot of buzz online. The show is based on the popular webtoon created by Taejun Pak and Kim Jung-Hyun, which started in 2019.
The official trailer and new visuals have been released, along with the theme song artist announcement. The opening theme will be performed by MASSIVE THE RAMPAGE, while Crab Kani Club will perform the ending theme.
Synopsis:
The story follows Hobin Yu, a scrawny high school student who becomes a star on a NewTube channel dedicated to fighting. After following advice from a mysterious NewTube channel, Hobin starts defeating opponents stronger than him and is soon making more money than he ever dreamed of. However, the question remains: Can Hobin keep up with his newfound fame and success, or will he eventually meet his match?

The anime is set to premiere on April 10th (effectively April 11th at 12:55 AM JST), and Crunchyroll will stream the show during the Spring 2024 season in various regions across the world.
