Pokemon Scarlet and Violet: Will They Undergo a New Eevolution?
Aside from Pikachu and Charizard, Eevee has been one of the major moneymakers in the Pokemon franchise because of its popularity. Eevee’s incredibly adaptable evolution pattern can be directly linked to its popularity.
Eevee may develop with evolution stones and friendship points into a psychic, electric, fire, water, or any other kind of Pokemon, unlike other Pokemon that can only evolve into a single type.
Since Sylveon was debuted in Generation 6, which is every two generations, a new Eevee evolution is overdue. In addition, Chloe’s Eevee in the Pokemon anime has been hinting to a new Eevolution.
In Pokemon Scarlet and Violet, Eevee won’t undergo any new evolutions. Only the first eight Eevee evolutions from the Gen 9 roster are accessible to players. But because to the Terastal phenomena, you may still experiment and obtain one-of-a-kind, transitory forms of Eevee.
Why does Scarlet and Violet not mention any new Eevolution?
Many rumors have been spread about GameFreak’s choice not to issue a new Eevee. Despite Eevee’s rising popularity, especially since the introduction of the video game Let’s Go, Eevee!, fans have been perplexed as to why a new Eevolution hasn’t been produced.
GameFreak is delaying the release of a new Eevolution for two key reasons.
Since Eevee is only well-liked by longtime followers, releasing a new Eevolution would harm its marketability. Furthermore, no new evolution mechanic has yet been introduced; Eevolutions merely exist to educate new methods of evolution.
However, all is not lost because the Teratallization concept might pave the path for the future introduction of a new Eevolution. GameFreak could think about producing a dragon-type Eevolution of Eevee, for instance, if an Eevee with a dragon Tera type becomes popular with new followers.
How does Terastallized Eevee function?
In addition to their standard type, Pokemon in Scarlet and Violet will also have a second kind called Tera type. Using a Tera orb, you may Terastallize your Pokémon to become of the Tera type.
If a Pokemon you have Terastallized employs a move that is both of its original type and Tera type, its attacks will be strengthened.
Following the Terastallization process, the Eevee will have access to the moves associated with the Tera type. This implies that, despite being a fire-type Pokemon, your Flareon may perform water-type moves after it Terastallizes. However, throughout a fight, your Eevee can only Terastallize once.
They will also develop a gemstone crown on their head that symbolizes their Tera kind. For instance, a fire Tera type Eevee with a candle gemstone on its head is a normal-type Eevee.
