The ending left all anime watchers puzzled. There was definitely no time for the Suzunari squad to deal a final blow, so what exactly happened? Well, I’m here to break the ending down for you.
Masato had to bail out due to his trion leakage after Hyuse and Yuma’s combo attacks. When a bailout occurs due to trion leakage and not a direct blow, the points are given to the person who dealt the most damage.
In the case of Masato, Ko had slashed open his arm, and even though he received damage from Tamakoma-2 after that, the previous blow was still fatal and led to the most amount of trion leakage. Thus, the point was provided to Ko Murakami.
At the same time, it looks like Masato almost ran away from the fight and let Ko take the point rather than Tamakoma-2.
Kitazoe barging in and activating a meteora is also a part of the plan. The blast allowed Masato to escape.

Hyuse and Yuma’s attacks were planned perfectly, and they took out two Kageura members in the blink of an eye.
The next episode will have an incredible showdown between the Suzunari and Tamakoma-2 squads. The battle is far from ending, and the Tamakoma-2 captain is currently injured.
The tide of the battle can turn anytime, but Hyuse has already shown how dangerous he is. Since the point went to Suzunari, Tamakoma-2 needs to be careful not to lose any more points to them.
