Yashahime: Princess Half-Demon Part 2 Premiere; Fav Demon Cousins are Back!
We all feel amazing when our favorite series gets a spin-off or sequel. While spin-offs to a classic anime are often disappointing, that is certainly not the case with Yashahime: Princess Half-Demon!
Han’yō no Yasha Hime is a spin-off sequel anime series of the classic Inuyasha written by Rumiko Takahashi. It is based on the next generation’s life and adventures, half-demons, cousins Towa Higurashi, Setsuna, and Moroha.
Yashahime: Princess Half-Demon announced on April 26th that Season 2 of the series would be coming out in the Fall 2021.

The announcement was made on the anime’s official website with a new poster on it.
Towa Higurashi is shown in a classic modern style white-colored suit with a katana in her hand while an odd-looking butterfly seems to pass by her.
The first season of the anime premiered in October 2020 and ended in March 2021 with a total of 24 episodes released.
In the anime, Towa is voiced by Sara Matsumoto, who was also the voice of Hiro Kurusu in Kono Oto Tomare!

The first season’s conclusion left us all on a massive cliffhanger, which left us wanting more of the show.
The apparent death of Towa’s beloved twin Setsuna, and new hope to revive her made us speculate what else Towa might use it for.
We also get to see the defeat of the twins and Moroha by Kirinmaru, who shows them pity and promises to engage them in battle when they are ready.
This might mean that Kirinmaru sees a lot of potential in the cousins and is waiting for them to realize and harness it beyond limits.
Yashahime’s part 2 looks really promising, and I can’t wait to see what it has in store for the fans!
