The awaited fight between Sukuna and Yuta is on in Jujutsu Kaisen Chapter 249 as Yuta uses his domain expansion and will do everything to take down Sukuna while Yuji again plays a vital role in separating Megumi from Sukuna. Read more about it below.
In the last chapter, we see that Yuji failed to execute Sukuna with Higurama’s sword. Sukuna then slashed Yuji and thought that Higurama had taken Kamutome with him. Sukuna noticed that Yuji was using a reversed cursed technique and his wounds had healed already. Ui Ui and Kirara took Higurama’s body off the battlefield. Ui Ui has an instant teleportation curse technique and he also took Gojo’s body.
Sukuna deduced that the bodies were being taken to Shoko and Yuji just learned the Reversed cursed technique in one month. Sukuna was disappointed as he expected more of Higurama. Sukuna was spacing out as he was drowning his thoughts and Yuji was in shock looking at him like this. Sukuna was consoling himself saying that he never thought that someone would satisfy him and he just plays with other people’s lives for fun.
Sukuna then remembered the same kind of people he fought 1000 years ago who followed some ideal like the current Jujutsu Sorcerers hold to finish off Sukuna. He then said that he would slash all those ideals and a spark of light appeared on his head. Then Kogane announced that a new rule was added to the game and the rule is “Megumi Fushiguro now holds the authority to activate the merger between Tengen and Humanity”.
Sukuna then said that he would start by killing Yuji and then kill all the culling game players. Then Yuta appeared and Sukuna told him that he must kill him otherwise he would kill everyone. Rika emerged from behind and tried to crush Sukuna and said who do you think you are talking to. Sukuna then called her the Queen.

Jujutsu Kaisen Chapter 249 will be released this upcoming Sunday 4th February 2024 on VIZ. The manga is returning after a long break of two weeks due to the national holidays in Japan. Jujutsu Kaisen Chapter 249 Spoilers
- In a flashback, we see Yuta vs Kenjaku from Gosho Lake Colony.
- Kenjaku says his ‘will’ will be inherited while Yuta calls out Rika and uses the Cursed Spirit Manipulation Technique.
- Kenjaku then calls out Kogane and adds a new rule.
- Fushiguro Megumi now holds the authority to activate the merging between Tengen and Humanity.
- Kogane accepts the new 15th rule to the Culling Games.
- Kenjaku then says he is glad that he got to play with Takaba in his last fight.
- Back to the present, Sukuna’s Reversed Cursed Technique is getting back to normal.
- Yuta thinks that Sukuna will be able to use his Domain Expansion and blames himself for Higurama’s death.
- Yuta then attacks Sukuna with his sword, but Sukuna stops it with his bare hand.
- Yuta then calls all these excuses and thinks that this happened because he wanted to finish Kenjaku with his hands.
- Yuta then expands his Domain which is called ‘True and Mutual Love’.
- Yuta then uses a “Hollow Wicker basket” which seals half of the arms and mouths of Sukuna.
- Sukuna now understands their plan.
- The plan is that Yuta will attack Sukuna using the unlimited CT copy only available in his domain.
- In the meanwhile, Yuji will attack Sukuna’s soul and separate him from Fushiguro Megumi’s body.
- The fight will continue in the next chapter.
