• The ninth game started with The Sun God Apollo and Sparta Leader Leonidas who hated Apollo for some reasons.
• The battle was fierce but this fight turned those enemies into friends, Apollo won the fight in the end.
• It doesn’t mean that Leonidas was ineffective and the scars on Apollo’s body confirm that.
• The audience is worried about those scars but Apollo says they will go untreated as they are the remains of his friend.
• The Spartan warriors are not able to hide the sadness after their leader lost the battle and are in tears.
• Hagis encourages everyone to look forward and not bend their back.
• He says that King Leonidas is still guiding them and telling us to not lose their pride as Sparta is the greatest.
• Kojiro Sasaki, Isamu Kondo, and Souji Okita who watched the match closely said that this match was something to be proud of.
• Even if this fight ended in a defeat it was magnificent for both sides.
• Kondo then calls Leon a true samurai while Okita says that he is jealous of Leon.

• Isamu Kondo was captured and beheaded as a criminal while Okita died of some illness and that is why they regret that they could not go like Leonidas on the battlefield.

• Brunhilde is furious and she is inside her private room.
• The Gods are leading the score with 5 wins while Humans only have four wins to their side.
• They need to win the next battles if they want to save humans from going extinct and that is why they need strong fighters for the next round.
• Hilde is confused and does not know who to send next to definitely win the round.
• The remaining fighters for the human side are Rasputin, Nostradamus, Simo Hayha, and Souji Okita.
• Hilde is still confused and can not make a decision but then Okita and Kondo show up.
• Souji Okita is very confident that he will win the next fight at any cost and he will be fighting the 10th round of Ragnarok.

• Hilde is skeptical but goes with Okita’s enthusiasm.
• She still has her doubts but Okita will be the next fighter.
• On the other side, Gods are also having a meeting to select the next fighter for the 10th Round.
• Loki is messing with Shiva and asks if he is trying to pick up a fight. Shiva replies if it comes to this he will do it.
• Odin stops Loki and starts the meeting. Gods are here to discuss how they are going to finish this game.
• They need two more wins to get the pass on destroying humanity.
• So they are going to decide on two fighters for the next two rounds.
• Anubis announces himself as the next fighter.
• Anubis is a demi-human, dog-like character.
• Anubis is waiting all this time for his turn and threatens Zeus if he does not send him next.

• Zeus asks other Gods if Anubis is fine and everyone agrees.
• Anubis is happy and overjoyed but then Susanoo no Mikoto appears.
• Ares is overwhelmed by his presence but Anubis is unfazed and he says that it is already decided that he will fight this round.

• Anubis is angry but then he says that the next fighter from the human side is the strongest Hitokiri, Souji Okita.
• Hermes overheard the conversation of Hilde and Okita and informed them the same.
• Anubis will probably appear in the 11th round where he will most likely face the deadly sniper Simo Hayha.
• So the 10th round will be fought between Souji Okita and Susanoo No Mikoto.
