Chyon Yo-Jong’s Upbringing
Chyon Yo-Jong was born to Qing Hwin, the adopted daughter of the Leader of the Blade Clan, Qing Bon-Kung. His mother died shortly after giving birth to him due to the mistreatment she received from the other wives.
Chyon Yo-Jong knew nothing about it and grew up along with his brother, Chayon Yo-Jing. Both of them were given an equal chance to become the rightful leader of the sect but the people around them never thought that.
Yo-Jong was ignored and treated as an inferior person in the sect. His role was diminished to helping Yo-Jing acquire the role of the leader. Although his brother treated him well, he was still made fun of by the young masters of the six clans.
Chyon Yo-Jong’s Academy Days
Chyon Yo-Jong had immense faith in his brother and thought that all their contempt would stop when his brother would become the next clan leader.
However, Yo-Jong started showing potential in martial arts and no one was in comparison to his skills. He passed the fifth test only after three years of attending the demonic academy.
This led to the falling apart of their relationship as brothers. Yo-Jing stopped interacting with his brother. After realizing that his talent was bringing conflict, Yo-Jong stopped training and disappeared from the Academy.
Yo-Jong didn’t want to bring any attention to him so he never accepted any followers or trainees under him. He thought that his Yo-Jing considered him a big brother and would accept him.

Chyon Yo-Jong’s Betrayal
Even though Chyon Yo-Jong never accepted anyone as his follower, one person persistently followed him around to accept him.
He was Yee Borwei from the Dark Sword Clan and Yo-Jong knew that his clan would be a subordinate to Yo-Jing when he succeeds as a leader, so he suggested Borwei join Yo-Jing.
However, Borwei still followed around Yo-Jong till the end. At the end of the fourth year, Borwei came bearing bad news for Yo-Jong that all the young masters of six clans have decided to get rid of him.
Yo-Jong didn’t believe in this nonsense as his brother would never plot against him. Borwei gave away the time and place of their meeting for Yo-Jong to witness it on his own.
Chyon Yo-Jong’s Revenge
Chyon Yo-Jong was devastated to know that his brother was in the plan of killing him. He was fuming in anger when he became paranoid and asked Borwei why he was helping him so much.
Borwei revealed that they’re relatives. Yo-Jong’s mother, Qing Hwin whose actual name was Yee Hwin, was Borwei’s grand aunt.
Yee Hwin was forced to become the adoptive daughter of the leader of the Blade Clan even though she had her own fiance. He adopted her forcefully to have the second candidate and she died of suffering.
Borwei triggered all the repressed emotions Yo-Jong had for his mother and now he couldn’t sit still till he had done something. Yo-Jong lived all these years thinking that he owed to the Blade Clan when both his mother and he were just disposable tools for them.
After realizing this, Yo-Jong thought rationally that he can’t defeat all the enemies on his own and that he needed power for it. Borwei then stepped in to say that there was a way that could help him defeat all of them.
Yo-Jong could easily defeat all the young masters of the six clans who were plotting against him. Yo-Jing faced him in the end and was terrified to see Yo-Jong use the Demonic Blood Reversing Technique.
Borwei was looking over the whole situation from a hidden place and smirking as if it wasn’t the Demonic Blood Reversing Technique but Heavenly Blood Reversing Technique. This was a newly created technique that doesn’t drive the person mad and even the side effects are less.
Yo-Jong had gained immense power but of course, it would come at a price. Why did he break down at the thought of using the technique?
