With chapter 80 marking the end of the season and considering there was a gap of around 6 months between season 1 and season 2, we can expect season 3 or SSS-class suicide Hunter Chapter 81 to release around December this year or early next year.

Review of SSS-class Suicide Hunter Season 2

Following the classic genre of a fantasy world with hunters/players climbing the tower, SSS-class suicide Hunter is certainly a gem among them and it stands out among the best.

Plot and story (10/10)

Our main character Kim-Gong-JA is a righteous individual who uses his powers for the benefit of everyone in the tower and considers every person his comrade.

The troupe the plot follows might be cliche for some people because a tower climbing fantasy cannot be considered unique but SSS-class suicide hunter made it unique in its own right.

The world building is detailed, we are slowly introduced to the details of the tower like constellations, skills..etc and all this info seems to have meaning. All the floors are unique and vast with their own story and history.

Art (10/10)

The art is GREAT! We can occasionally come across some wallpaper quality panels while reading the manhwa. The action scenes, the scenery, face expressions of the characters, and attention to little details are all great

Characters (9/10)

The characters are very well written and there are multiple lovable side characters like my personal favorite the black witch and many more characters to come ( I CAN SMELL THE UPCOMING WAIFUS !!) and all of them have their own unique personalities making the story feel much immersive.

Negative points 

Suicide is shown very frequently in this manhwa and portrayed as a natural thing our Kim-Gonga-ja does, this can disturbing and uncomfortable for some people.

The plot of SSS-class suicide hunter?

The tower is a mysterious multi-dimensional structure that suddenly appeared on earth one day. It has hundreds of floors each with its own unique setting and structures or one could call each floor a different universe altogether.

Seeking fame and fortune many people ventured into the tower and these people are called hunters.

The story starts off by introducing Kim Gongja, our main protagonist who is an orphan since birth that has entered the tower to make a living and escape from his depressing life.

But fate had something else set for him as he was stuck on the lowest floors for over a decade and can only lament his own lack of ability and talents.

But fate spins a wheel and Kim gongja strikes it big with a skill called [I Want to Become Just Like You!] And with this ability which lets him take any skill from the person he kills, Kim gongja changes the world around him.

A quick recap 

After an all-out war between the orthodox faction and the unorthodox faction also known as the heavenly demonic cult, the masters of these cults had come to their demise after an epic battle and fulfilling their only life’s wish of dying in battle.

With both cult leaders gone, it was up to Gongja to fulfill his final duty as the only disciple of the Heavenly demon and take the position of lord of the heavenly demonic cult.

However, the martial masters of the demonic cult had doubts about Gongja’s eligibility to be the heir of the heavenly demonic cult.

So Gongaja performs the heavenly god art to prove that he was the inheritor of the previous lord of the heavenly demonic cult and the future lord and all martial masters of the demonic cult bow before their new lord.

This marks the end of the veritable record of the heavenly demon and Kim-Gongja is sent back to earth seeing as he almost completed his mission.

But our Kim-Gongja was called prematurely before he could fully fulfill his initial goal of going into the veritable records of the heavenly demon, that is finding the other fragments of his holy sword.

He was greeted by the constellation, very cheerfully and seemed very happy with the ending of the veritable records of the heavenly demon. The constellation gave Kim-Gongja a haircut and a nail cut all while being very sus about it like taking his hair and nails in a bag.
