TECHNOROID: OVERMIND Anime PV Reveals the Eccentric Main Characters
Another spectacular multimedia project is making its way towards our screen for 2022. Noriyasu Agematsu announced a new project called Technoroid in collaboration with musical artists Elements Garden and RUCCA.

This upcoming project, which includes an anime, a smartphone game, and music, is anything but your average musical anime plot.
It is set in a post-apocalyptic world where climate change has worsened, resulting in an enlarged sun and the world submerged in water.
Technoroid multimedia project’s anime, TECHNOROID: OVERMIND, has revealed a PV introducing the show’s characters, cast, and staff while announcing a 2022 premiere.
The climate change crisis affected the human population severely, and soon androids were produced to carry out labor tasks in the harsh conditions that humans could not bear.
In these dark times, the world turned to the only source of hope, the entertainment tower Babel. In this place, only those who can move the hearts of humans and androids alike with their tunes can reach the top.
Several musical units compete in Babel to reach the top of the tower where only the talented and unique ones can be. The story centers on three bands in particular called KNoCC, Stand-Alone, and Mechanical Metallica.
All three groups are composed of androids, and the franchise also revealed the cast for their members:

Other than the anime, the project also has a smartphone game, Technoroid Unison Heart, coming out in 2022.
It has also announced the bands’ first songs: “Knockin’ On x Lockin’ On” by KNoCC, “Not Standing Alone” by Stand-Alone, and “Metallicholic” by Mechanica Metallica.
Even though the story is in a post-apocalyptic setting, Noriyasu has mentioned that the anime is a light-hearted watch without evil characters.
This means that we’ll get to know each character in detail and would be able to understand and connect with them better.
I am excited to see what the anime has in store for us.
