Netflix Removes JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure Part 6 from Monthly Release List
No matter how bizarre JoJo’s adventures get, we all love it the same. The peculiar art style, extravagant poses, and engaging storyline have gathered more popularity than you can ever imagine.
Recently, this crazy fandom got JoJo’s Part 6: Stone Ocean which features the only female JoJo, Jolyne Cujoh. Being the daughter of the franchise’s most iconic character Jotaro, Jolyne is bound to get the hype from everyone.
The only thing bothering us was that Netflix revealed Stone Ocean to have a monthly new episode release. But, we don’t have to worry about that now.
Netflix Media Center updated JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: Stone Ocean, and now, the upcoming anime is no longer listed under the monthly release category.
The show is scheduled for December 2021, and a specific release date is yet to be announced.
This means that Netflix will probably release new episodes weekly or dump the entire show all at once so that we can binge it all night and mess up our already broken sleep schedules. Either way, I am happy with both because anything is better than a monthly episode release.
The show is the fifth season in JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure anime series, adapting the manga’s part 6. Although we won’t get another Jotaro and Dio confrontation in this, Stone Ocean has its iconic moments and characters.
As much as we love Jotaro, he certainly isn’t the best father. Jolyne and Jotaro have a strained relationship due to the latter’s significant absence throughout Jolyne’s childhood.
Due to the lack of attention from her father and her parent’s divorce, Jolyne went down a destructive path as a consequence. Committing crimes and causing trouble was a daily routine for her until she decided to leave this unhealthy life behind and turn on a new leaf.
But as fate would have it, she was sent to jail for a crime she didn’t commit for a second time. Although, this time, she managed to discover the heritage and powers she received from her father.
Confused and lost at first, Jolyne soon got hold of her abilities and learned how to use them for good. This is how the events of Stone Ocean and Jolyne’s epic yet tragic journey began.
JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure Part 9 JoJo Lands Confirmed After Part 8’s End
December is almost a month away, and I honestly cannot wait longer for the Stone Ocean premiere.
I’ve always wanted to see Jolyne animated and how her character would be made. I hope the anime does justice to the manga.
About JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure
JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure is a manga series written and illustrated by Hirohiko Araki. The series is divided into eight parts, each following the adventures of a new protagonist bearing the “JoJo” nickname.
The first six parts form a saga detailing the supernatural conflicts between members of the Joestar family and various villains. The latter two parts follow a continuity reboot, taking place in an alternate universe with many parallels to the original.
