The Story of Iruburu
Since Vueko’s flashback ended, we now know the whole story behind this hollow village. Vueko and her group had reached the 6th layer to find this Ganja village. She got close to this infertile girl named Irumyuui, who is exiled away.
Meanwhile, the tribe realizes that their water source is a parasitic organism and they fall sick. Using the newly found cradle of desire, everyone hopes that Irumyuui will sacrifice herself to save everyone. However, her wish was to give children.
As time passed, Irumyuui deformed and became beast-like. She also produced babies who died soon due to being born without organs. Wazukyan fed these babies to the others, which managed to cure the disease.
This continues. Irumyuui grew and mutated, continuing to produce children. Wazukyan gave her a second cradle and she relocated to feed on beasts. An apologetic Belaf offered his soul to her. He is turned into a hollow. The rest of the Ganja do the same.
And thus, Iruburu village came to be. Vueko tried to commit suicide but Wazukyan imprisoned her in Irumyuui’s head. And then, using the second cradle, Irumyuui gave birth to Faputa, the perfect child!

Abyss Season 2 Episode 9 Manga Spoilers:
- Reg and Faputa make their way back to Ilblu; the former has to be true to his words. He did promise to help Faputa out.
- However, Faputa is injured due to tearing off her body parts. As Reg comforts her, beasts chase them, attracted by the smell of blood.
- Riko sees Faputa while the latter notices Prushka. As they enter the barrier, the village makes a strong, uncontrolled reaction, like the Ilblu balancing.
- Reg tries to bring the parts to Belaf without delay but Vueko stops him since the sight would scare Belaf. Reg tells them his story.
- Unknown to everyone, Wazukyan is eavesdropping on the conversation and deduces that Reg must be the princess since he has gotten his hands on the princess.
- What will Wazukyan do now? We will have to watch ahead to find out.
