Netflix Drops Premiere Date for Mr. Iglesias Season 3
It seems like Mr Iglesias will be taking a few more classes this year. Netflix has renewed Mr Iglesias for a third season, which is set to release later this year. The sitcom premiered on the streaming service on June 21st, 2019. The second season dropped in June 2020. It stars standup comedian Gabriel Iglesias as the protagonist and titular character.
The show builds its story around Gabe Iglesias, a friendly public-school history teacher who teaches at his alma mater. When the school tries to remove a group of students to better their district performance, Mr Iglesias takes responsibility for them and coaches them to pass their tests. He soon realizes that not all of them are the dimwits like the school made them out to be.
The third season will see Mikey and Marisol’s crush blossoming into something more. But this time, it is not Assistant Principal Carlos who is making things difficult for the kids; they will also have to face their midterms and a dance recital at their school.
Netflix dropped a trailer teasing the third season of the sitcom:
Mr. Iglesias also stars Sherri Shepherd, Jacob Vargas, Maggie Geha, Richard Gant, Cree Cicchino, and Tucker Albrizzi. Oscar Nunez, famous for his role as Oscar Martinez in The Office (US), plays the role of the antagonist Assistant Principal Carlos in the series.
The third season of Mr. Iglesias premieres on December 8th, 2020, on Netflix.
