Promised Neverland Live-Action Film Reveals December 18 Debut
The Promised Neverland is one of the top psychological thriller manga. For as long as it was serialized, it always managed to give us goosebumps.
The celebrated manga finally reached its conclusion on June 15, 2020. Although there are a few complaints, we are still moved by the ending.
The Promised Neverland series gained a lot of popularity during its run. It also received an anime adaptation in January 2019, airing 12 episodes.
The second season was due for October this year but has been pushed to 2021 due to the pandemic.
The official website for the theatrical live-action of Promised Neverland revealed its first promotional video and teaser poster. The film opens in Japanese theatres from December 18.
The Teaser Poster showed the manga’s characters portrayed by their live-action counterparts, smiling and unaware of their future.
A new scene photo was also released for the live-action film.

Amazon is also developing an English live-action film for The Promised Neverland.
Live actions tend not to rise to a manga or anime’s level due to various reasons. Certain scenes look better drawn or animated rather than acted in movies or stage plays. Fans are excited about how the film fares out.
