Season 4 of Golden Kamuy Will Premiere in April 2023.
When it started in October of this year, Season 4 of Golden Kamuy was on a perfect and steady episode run. They were dealt a bit of a setback when the show was forced to temporarily suspend filming after a member of the crew passed away.
A key member of the anime’s staff, who will remain nameless, passed away suddenly on November 1. The show was put on hold since they were such an important member of the production team, the producers said.
The production committee and Brains Base, the studio behind Golden Kamuy, have agreed to replay the fourth season after much deliberation.
Starting with the pilot episode in April 2023, the series will once again be broadcast on television, with home video releases scheduled for July 26, August 30, and September 27, 2023.
Since this staff member was essential to the production of the anime, episodes 7–13 were previously delayed. The franchise has come to this conclusion after realizing that without the staff members, they would not be able to make the anime in such a short period.
Sometime in the following months, the franchise will find a suitable replacement, and regular production will resume. As we wait for the next season, we can always go back and watch the previous episodes again.
Episode 6 was incredibly serious, much beyond our wildest expectations, while episode 5 was lighthearted and rather benign. Fans naturally assumed that the eighth installment would do the same, keeping us glued to the screen the entire time.
But there’s only one way to find out what would have happened in episode 7, and that’s a long way off. The good news is that everyone who is interested can make their own assumptions or read the manga.

This year’s Golden Kamuy was one of the most promising anime, but unfortunately, they ran out of luck.
I really hope the show continues to have an impact in 2023 and causes chaos among its viewers.
