Ehime to Tokyo
Ehime is a small rural town in Japan, and Ashito Aoi is a middle school student there. As far as the locals are concerned, he is a football genius. Tatsuya Fukuda approaches him after seeing him perform well in a preliminary high school match.
It was mostly curiosity that drew Fukuda in at first. However, he is taken aback by Ashito’s skill, which allows him to remember even the most minute details of a battle. He recommends that Ashito play in the Youth Esperion FC playoffs.
If he passed, Fukuda said they’d go to the global finals. This is Ashito’s chance to escape, so he packs up and heads to Tokyo.
