Latest Promo for Season 2 of ‘Edens Zero’ Hints at Draken’s Return
Season 1 of ‘Edens Zero’ made quite a name for itself last year. Fans have found a few features similar to ‘Fairy Tail,’ but it’s a great series so far. Following the positive response, the creators have announced a season 2 for the anime.
In the last episode, Kurenai was defeated, but another threat was looming over them. In season 2, Drakken will make an appearance once again. Let’s hope the Edens Zero crew is ready for it this time around.
Season 2 of Edens Zero will come out in April 2023. Netflix streamed the first season and might do the same with the upcoming episodes.
In the latest trailer, you can get a taste of how much Shiki and his team had to sacrifice on their journey. The villain group also gets in a few cool dialogues, but Drakken is definitely the scene-stealer here.
While season 1 received 25 episodes and covered the first 68 chapters of the anime, season 2 will cover the Belial Gore arc, cruise through the Edens One arc, and might even enter the Aoi Cosmos Saga.
Edens Zero Staff Reveals Director Yūshi Suzuki’s Sudden Demise in September
The number of episodes might be undecided, but I am sure that Drakken will return soon. The Dark Alchemist is the main antagonist of the series so far and has been continuously chasing the crew. In the upcoming episodes, the Edens Zero will fall into one of his intricately woven traps.
Can Shiki’s crew make their way out? Moreover, Rebecca might turn out to be their savior with her new power.
About Edens Zero
Edens Zero is a Japanese science fiction manga series written and illustrated by Hiro Mashima. It has been serialized in Kodansha’s Weekly Shōnen Magazine, into fourteen tankōbon volumes as of March 2021.
At the Granbell Kingdom, Shiki has lived his entire life among machines, in an abandoned amusement park. But one day, Rebecca and her cat companion Happy appear at the park’s front gates.
Little do they know that this is the first human contact Granbell has had in a hundred years! As Shiki stumbles his way into making new friends, his former neighbors stir at an opportunity for a robot-rebellion.
When his old homeland becomes too dangerous, Shiki must join Rebecca and Happy on their spaceship and escape into the boundless cosmos.
