New Visual Reveals ‘Kanojo mo Kanojo’ is Greenlit for Season 2

No one likes two-timers. That is unless the cheater is an anime guy who is chilling with multiple girls under cover of the harem genre. By the end of season 1 of ‘Kanonjo mo Kanojo,’ Naoya already has four love interests, and I can’t comprehend when he will stop.

The guy is already three-timing, but the low standards of anime girls are making them flock around him. Only Shino can see reason in all this, and I hope she doesn’t turncoat in the upcoming season.

‘Girlfriend, Girlfriend,’ one of the most recommended harem-comedy anime, has just been greenlit for a second season. Crunchyroll streamed its first season and might stream the upcoming one too.

Hiroyuki-sensei, the series’ creator, has been teasing the announcement for a few days. Two brand-new visuals are finally out, and they confirm season 2 with gusto.

You can see all the main female characters of the ‘Girlfriend, Girlfriend’ anime in these two visuals, and they will undoubtedly be featured in the next installment.

In season 1 of Kanojo mo Kanojo, Saki acknowledged Nagisa as her rival in love. So, Naoya is now officially two-timing them, but with their consent.

Naoya thinks that the next step is to come clean to Saki’s mom about how he wants to be with them both, but even Saki admits that it’s a bad idea. Shino is still hell-bent on setting things right, and now that Rika is in the mix, things are getting more complicated.

In season 2 of the anime, Rika will become a prime member of Naoya’s harem. Shino will try even harder to end this scam, but I think she will end up falling for him as well.

On the other hand, Saki and Nagisa might take their rivalry too seriously and end up hurting each other. No matter how the season plays out, it’s bound to be a huge romantic mess.

About Kanojo mo Kanojo

Kanojo mo Kanojo is a Japanese romantic comedy manga series written and illustrated by Hiroyuki. Serialized in Kodansha’s Weekly Shōnen Magazine in March 2020, and has been compiled into three tankōbon volumes as of November 2020.

Naoya, a first-year high school student, asks Saki out and they decide to start dating. However, out of the blue, Nagisa confesses to Naoya about liking him.

Though Naoya and Nagisa immediately get along, he tells her that he already has a girlfriend.

He suddenly proposes that they go together to talk with Saki about him dating them both at the same time. Although Saki is reluctant at first, she agrees to date Naoya with Nagisa at the same time.
