Anyway I’m Falling in Love with You

  is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Haruka Mitsui. It has been serialized in Kodansha’s shōjo manga magazine Nakayoshi since November 2020 and has been collected into seven tankōbon volumes as of October 2023.

Now, an anime television series adaptation of the manga has been announced. Mitsuri expressed his joy for the anime adaptation by drawing an illustration.

Synopsis of Anime:

Mizuha’s 17th birthday is the pits. Her parents forgot, and the senpai she likes isn’t interested in her. But when her longtime childhood friend asks her out, Mizuha has to sort out what this change in relationship could mean. And her feelings may not be the only ones changing!

“I’m Going to Fall in Love Anyway” is a story of love and coming-of-age that unfolds between the main character, Mizuho Nishino, who grew up in a seaside town, and her childhood friends, Terutsuki Hazawa, Fukaku Kashiwagi, Ai Izumi, and Shugo Hoshikawa. It is being serialized in Nakayoshi (Kodansha), and Volume 8 will be released on March 13th.

There’s not much information revealed by the official website, so we don’t know when the anime will air and who are the cast members. But stay tuned for updates!
