‘A Condition Called Love’ Manga to Be Animated in 2024
Sometimes romance is even more poignant when it also makes you laugh, and that lovely combination of emotions can be found in the comedy-romance series ‘A Condition Called Love’.
Hotaru Hinase, a high school student who has never experienced romantic love and isn’t convinced she’s capable of it, and Hananoi Saki, the school’s famed hopeless romantic loner, are the protagonists of the shoujo manga titled “A Condition Called Love” by Megumi Morino.
A website was released on Wednesday to promote the 2024 broadcast of the anime television series based on the manga by Megumi Morino titled A Condition Called Love (Hananoi-kun to Koi no Yamai). The website also featured the first look at the anime’s teaser artwork.
Hananoi is smiling gently in the teaser image, and Hotaru appears to leap onto his chest for a hug. To mark the occasion of the anime’s announcement, Morino sensei also made an image.
The first chapter of Morino sensei’s manga was published in Kodansha’s Monthly Dessert magazine back in December of 2017. Kodansha will issue the thirteenth collected volume of the manga on June 13. More than 3.8 million copies of the manga have been sold. At the 45th Kodansha comic Awards in 2021, this comic took home the prize for Best Shoujo Manga.
The manga series A Condition Called Love is excellent because it depicts an unorthodox courtship and love tale about two young people learning what love is and how to show it to each other.
A Condition Called Love
Japanese author and artist Megumi Morino created the A Condition Called Love manga series.
Hotaru, a 16-year-old freshman in high school who has always been hesitant about love in favor of having a colorful existence with her family and friends, is at the center of the story.
As a result, she doesn’t think twice about lending her umbrella to her classmate Hananoi-kun when she spots him sitting in the snow following a public split. The next day, he asks her out right in the middle of class, and she can’t help but feel that everything is about to change.
