Acro Trip Announces Release Window for 2024.

The anime adaptation of Acro Trip has released its main trailer, announcing its premiere in October 2024.

The trailer introduces the storyline, where a teenage girl is enticed to join the dark side to boost the success of the magical girl she admires.

Acro Trip is adapted from the comedy manga by Yone Sawata, initially serialized in Ribon in 2017 and concluded in 2023, comprising five tankoubon volumes.

The Plot of Acro Trip

Acro Trip revolves around Chizuko Date, a girl who is a big fan of Berry Blossom, the magical girl guardian of her city in Niigata Prefecture. Unfortunately, the leader of the local evil organization, Fossa Magna, named Chroma, is not taken seriously due to being incompetent and weak. As a result, not many people pay attention to the battles between Berry Blossom and Chroma. Determined to highlight Berry Blossom’s heroic deeds, Chizuko embarks on a journey that leads her into the company of peculiar characters.

Cast and Staff Members Revealed

Earlier announcements revealed that Miku Ito would lead the cast of this comedy anime as Chizuko Date, the main character. Miku-san previously voiced Miku Nanako in The Quintessential Quintuplets. Joining her in the voice cast is Inori Minase, who takes on the role of Berry Blossom. Additionally, Nobunaga Shimazaki, known for his roles as Yuki Soma in Fruits Basket and Seishiro Negi in Blue Lock, portrays Chrome. Kengo Kawanishi, famous for his role as Gen Asagiri in Dr. Stone, also joins the cast as Mashirou. Expect more cast announcements soon.

Acro Trip anime is directed by Ayumu Kotake, known for his work as Pet assistant director. Series composition is handled by Shinichi Inotsume, known for his work on PERSONA 5 the Animation. Character design is done by Toshie Kawamura, recognized for her work on Yes! Precure 5.
