Adam Tsekhman Joins Legends Of Tomorrow As A Regular
Adam Tsekhman has been promoted to a series regular in the DC Extended Universe’s most campy show, Legends Of Tomorrow. After Ray, Charlie, Mona and Nora left the Legends at the end of season five, fans were excited to see who would join the team next. It turns out Time Bureau Agent Gary Green will be spending a lot more time on the Waverider with the goofiest bunch of misfit heroes in the sixth season of the show.
Earlier this year, the CW renewed Legends Of Tomorrow for season six and scheduled its release in mid-2021.
The network also reported some updates in the cast of the show. Along with Adam Tsekhman, Shayan Siobhan, who plays Zari’s brother on the show, has been upgraded to a series regular for the next season.
In addition, Lisseth Chavez, known for her role as police officer Vanessa in Chicago P.D, will be joining the cast. Her character, Esperanza ‘Spooner’s Cruz, is a new character who has the ability to communicate with aliens telepathically.
Although it borrows characters from all shows in the Arrowverse, Legends Of Tomorrow is as different from other shows in the superhero universe as it can be. The show takes pride in its madcap storylines and hilariously cheesy jokes. In short, it is not the self-serious Arrow or The Flash.
The Legends have come a long way from the maverick team that Rip Hunter put together in the first season. In season six, they will be searching for aliens who have been displaced because they meddled with the timeline.
If you have not caught up with their bizarre adventures yet, you can stream all five seasons on the CW app and Netflix.
