She can play claw cranes quite well but has no idea about personal space. Thus, her classmate, Raidou, gets confused when she literally sticks to him after a single interaction.

The Aharen-san wa Hakrenai anime will be released in April 2022. A brand new visual has been revealed to highlight the quirkiness of the series:

The visual shows Aharen-san riding on Raidou’s shoulder like it’s the most natural thing in the world.

Ishikawa, Tomori, and Hanako are staring at them while Toubaru-sensei and Miyahira-sensei quarrel in the background. Overall it sums up the crazy manga and its mildly unhinged characters.

“Hanarenai Kyori,” the anime’s opening theme song, will be performed by TrySail, and HaKoniwalily will perform the ending theme song, “Kyori-Kan.”

As the anime progresses, you will get to know all the weird characters of this rom-com series.

From students to teachers, each and everyone has a quirky personality. Let’s see how Raidou becomes friends with this chibi girl who has no notion of personal space.

About Aharen-san wa Hakarenai

Aharen-san wa Hakarenai is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Asato Mizu. It began serialization in Shueisha’s Shōnen Jump+ service in January 2017, and has been compiled into eleven tankōbon volumes.

The story follows the “indecipherable” daily life of the short and quiet Reina Aharen and Raidou who sits next to her in class. Aharen is not so good at gauging the distance between people, and Raidou initially sensed some distance between the two of them.

Then one day, when Raidou picked up the eraser that Aharen had dropped, the distance between them suddenly became uncomfortably close.
