Hello Guys! Akudama Drive is an original anime from the writer of the famous Danganronpa series Norimitsu Kaiho. The series is getting adapted by Studio Pierrot. Firstly Akudama Drive release date was set in July 2020 but due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, it was shifted.
Akudama Drive Anime Story
A War happened a long time ago and Japan was separated into two regions: Kantou and Kansai. In the Kansai region, police and government lose control of the city to a criminal group knows as ‘Akudama”. You can check out the official trailer for more info about the series.

Akudama Drive Release Date
Earlier the anime was set to be released in July 2020 but the release was postponed due to safety reasons and unfinished production. Now, Akudama Drive will air on October 8, 2020, and after that, the episodes will release on every Thursday.
The series will be simulcasted on Funimation.

The trailer contains excessive use of CGI (computer-generated imagery) which most of the anime fans dislike but looking at the plot and interesting characters this one might turn out to be a good anime.
