Amanchu!, Popular Scuba Diving Manga, All Set for Epic Finale in May

Written and illustrated by Kozue Amano, the manga follows the day to day activities of two young girls – Futaba Ooki and Hikari Kohinata. Hikari convinces Futaba to enrol in their school’s scuba diving club, and their journey of exploring the vastness of the deep seas thus began!
Kozue Amano revealed that the “Amanchu!” manga series would end on May 10 with the release of the final chapter.
The final chapter will be available in Mag Garden’s MAGCOMI Web Service. In November, the final volume of the manga will be shipped across Japan. The manga had entered its final story arc in September 2020.
Author Kozue Amano, best known for creating Aria, has been publishing the manga since November 2008 in Mag Garden’s Monthly Comic Blade. From the late 2010s, the manga has been following a quarterly schedule because of the author’s pregnancy and subsequent child care.

J.C Staff also produced an anime adaptation based on the original manga, and the first season aired back in 2016, while the second season premiered in 2018.
With the success of the manga, it is possible that we might even see a Season 3 pretty soon.
How will the journey of Futaba and Hikari end? Will they be able to remain close friends, even when they decide to choose different career paths? Fans have to wait till May 10 to find out what happens!

Amanchu! is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Kozue Amano. An anime television series adaptation by J.C.Staff aired in Japan in 2016. The second season of the anime series aired in 2018.
The story revolves around Futaba Ooki, a shy girl who just moved in from the city to the oceanside town of Shizuoka. She meets Hikari Kohinata, an erratic girl who loves scuba diving.
Together, they join their school’s Diving Club and discover the joys of underwater exploration.
