In the preview, we can see that Magath has joined hands with Tyburs who have War Hammer Titan. Tyburs were invited and a festival was organized to celebrate Tyburs joining the war against paradis. On the other hand, Reiner will be meeting an old friend or foe we can’t say at this moment but it will be an epic reunion.
Attack On Titan Season 4 Episode 3 Recap
Episode 3 covers the past of all the titans’ candidates. The candidates were Reiner, Pieck, Zeke, Marcel, Galliard, Bertolt. They were trained to become the fighters who will obtain the titan powers as only Eldians can get the Titan powers.
In the first draft, it was shown how Reiner was a weak candidate and how he was bullied by Galliard. The story follows the tragic past of Reiner Braun as his father left him when he was a small kid and his mom wanted Reiner to become a soldier so that they can become honorary Marleyens.
His mom believed that his father will come back to the family if Reiner becomes a soldier. Later it was revealed that Reiner was not a capable candidate to obtain the Armored Titan but Marcel set things that will show Reiner stronger and Galliard weaker. This led to Reiner getting the Armored Titan power.
Marcel received the Jaw Titan, Zeke obtained the Beast Titan, Annie got The Female Titan, Berthholt was given The Colossal Titan and Pieck got the Cart Titan powers.

After that Marcel, Reiner, Annie and Bertholdt were sent to retrieve the founding titan from the paradis island but in the middle of their journey, Marcel was eaten by Ymir while saving Reiner from being eaten. After that Reiner took responsibility for the mission and they broke the Wall Maria.
After destroying the wall they went to the same camp where Eren, Mikasa, and Armin were staying. Then they admitted to the corps and acted like they were determined to save humanity. More will be revealed in Attack On Titan Season 4 Episode 4.
