Previously we see that Armin and Connie go to the port in order to get the flying boat. They make them believe that the rest are trying to get their hands on the boat. Mikasa and others attack from the other side. Leading to a battle between Yeagerist and the newly formed alliance.

Annie and Riener in their titan form try to finish the battle quickly. But faces a lot of trouble in doing so. Meanwhile

Armin and Connie explain that they must remove the explosives from the boat in order to pursue the Warriors. They have Daz’s and Samuel’s faith, so they start detonating the explosives one by one. Floch alerts all of the soldiers in the area that Hange’s Scouts are traitors when Mikasa and the others storm the structure. Reiner and Annie appear as though on cue, changing their appearances and getting ready to battle.

When Daz and Samuel realize Connie and Armin are rivals, a brawl ensues between the four of them. Daz immediately fires multiple rounds at Armin. With the gun he grabbed from Samuel at the end of the episode, Connie murders both Daz and Samuel.
