B-Project Announces 3rd Season And Console Game For Nintendo
B-project is a male idol anime with catchy music, beautiful boys, and a dull heroine.
The story follows Tsubasa, a newly hired member in the A&R department of a recording company, who is assigned to oversee the idol unit “B-PROJECT.”
However, fans weren’t satisfied with the animation quality and the endings of the first two seasons. The franchise is now coming up with the third season in hopes of making everything right this time.
The franchise announced on their B-PROJECT Thrive Live 2020 -Music Drugger- event that the anime series will receive a third season.

The exact release date and episode list for the third season have not been released yet.
The event also revealed that the project is inspiring its very first console game for Nintendo Switch, B-PROJECT Ryūsei*Fantasia (B-PROJECT Shooting Star*Fantasia).
A promo video for this console game has also been released.
The video features all the main characters and kindles our curiosity for the upcoming console game. The game will cover B-PROJECT’s five-year history along with new plot scenarios and new music.
The Blu-ray disc and a DVD of “B-PROJECT Thrive Live 2020 -Music Drugger-” event will be available for sale from May 26. The event will stream on November 22 and 23 from the Makuhari Messe venue’s Makuhari Event Hall in Chiba.
The anime’s first season was released in July 2016, and a sequel season was released in 2019.
By 2020, the franchise had an anime series, a manga adaptation, a rhythm game, a stage play, multiple music CDs, and a range of related merchandise.
