Baki’s Opening Sequence for Upcoming Season Teases Baki vs. Biscuit Oliva!
It has been only a year since we saw Baki face off against Muhammad Ali Jr. One would assume that we would have to wait a while for the new season, but Netflix already has us drooling!
Even before the anime adaptation, Baki was a very successful manga in its own right. However, with its over-the-top fight scenes and explicit injuries, it was going to be hard to translate that to the anime medium.
But Netflix knocked it out of the park! And now it has given us a taste of the franchise’s latest offering.
Theofficial websitefor Baki anime has released a new creditless title sequence for its Season 3, Hanma Baki: Son of Ogre. The upcoming season of the anime will be released on Netflix this Fall.
The opening begins with a shot of the Arizona State Prison or the Black Pentagon, where the next arc will occur. We then get glimpses of fierce men of Black Pentagon, who challenged Biscuit Oliva in the past, who also makes an appearance later fighting against Baki.
We also get our first look at Jun Guevaru, the strongest person in the Black Pentagon.
The title sequence for the anime features the opening theme “Treasure Pleasure” by GRANRODEO.
Yujiro Hanma has finally acknowledged his son as a worthy opponent, now Baki’s pursuit of revenge truly begins.
