Bakugo Apologizes and Captures Hearts in My Hero Academia Chapter 322
Bakugo’s pride has always kept him at a distance from Deku. Even though he started to respect him, his ego did not allow him to convey his true feelings.
Despite that, in order to get through to Deku and save his friend, Bakugo decided to bury all his pride in My Hero Academia chapter 322.
We have seen Bakugo going through changes little by little over the course of the story. From how he treats his classmates to his willingness to listen to Deku, his development has been subtle; but all of this has been building up to this moment.
Bakugo, after all the years of ill-treatment, finally apologizes to Deku for his behavior. This is what ultimately gets through to Midoriya and he submits to his actions. Bakugo explains how he thought he was superior and how he rejected every other possibility.
After maturing and finally coming to terms with the truth, Bakugo opens up without expecting anything from Deku. He further explains how Deku’s ideals are not enough to achieve his goal, and his recent actions have countered those very ideals
Moved by his apology, Midoriya feels a sense of relief and falls in Bakugo’s arms. He himself apologizes for underestimating Class 1A and rejecting their feelings.
As expected, it was Bakugo who finally made Midoriya realize his mistakes. From the brash, down-talking hothead, he has obviously come a long way.
How does Chapter 317 parallel Deku’s current state to that of Hero-Killer Stain’s?
We thought after Bakugo’s fight with Deku after All Might retirement was when he really opened up. We knew he already started to respect Izuku due to his actions against the battle with Shigaraki. It seems like his character had one last chapter to go through.
If he had remained how he is, Bakugo might not have been a perfect hero. His character development arc has been amazing to watch; he is now closer to what he sought out to become.
After all this, Deku may now have some serious competition for that top spot.
