Bandai Namco Enlists Studio 8-bit for Synduality Project
Bandai Namco recently shared its plans for an upcoming multimedia franchise Synduality, and sci-fi lovers are going crazy over the first looks.
The company is renowned for making some epic games and anime, and there’s no doubt about this one being a huge success as well. Till now, the franchise has revealed an anime and a video game lined up for the project, and more could be announced soon.
As per the latest update, Bandai Namco has enlisted Studio 8-bit for the Synduality anime’s production. Studio 8-bit has previously worked on anime like The Irregular at Magic High School and That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime.
Besides revealing the animation studio, the video gives us a good look into the anime and its setting. It’s set in a post-apocalyptic dystopian reality where a poisonous rain called Tears of the New Moon has wiped out most of the human race.
This mysterious and deadly rain also gave birth to deformed monster-like creatures, forcing the remaining people to flee. As time passed, these people built and settled in underground societies to protect themselves.
The main plot starts in the year 2222, when humans living in their underground haven, Amasia, run into an Artificial Intelligence called Magus. Being unfamiliar with the Magus, humans try to understand and coexist with them, leading to many discoveries and adventures.
Anime Adaptation Announced for ‘Synduality’ Game Franchise
The main characters, Noir, Ciel, and Schnee, are all Magus, indicating that the story might focus more on AI. However, we still don’t know much about the anime, and the franchise might be planning on introducing more things.
As for the release, there’s not a clue about when it will come out, so it will be a long wait for that one.

The main plot begins when the protagonists stumble upon an Artificial Intelligence named Magus and try to figure out how things work between humans and AI.
