Bartender Glass of God Anime: Publication date, Plot & Where Can You Watch?

I think you’ll really appreciate Bartender: Glass of God if you’re looking for a movie where the words matter more than the action.

When compared to the other, more outlandish and unrealistic anime, I found it to be a welcome change of pace. There are no complicated plot lines involving love triangles or supernatural abilities, just a regular bartender delivering drinks and giving tips to his patrons.

The April 2024 premiere of the new anime series BARTENDER Glass of God has been confirmed. If you’re a fan of the show, you can watch it live on Crunchyroll.

My favorite part was how quickly time flew by while I was engrossed in the story.

There already been an anime adaptation, but this new one looks promising. I’m excited to see how they depict Ryu Sasakura in the film.

What Is The Anime’s Plot?

Staff members working on the anime noted that even when using the same ingredients, a cocktail prepared by a different bartender can have a notably varied flavor profile.

The tale is complex, with alternating sweet and bitter notes and a refreshing finish.

Ryuu Sasakura, our protagonist, is a young Japanese bartender who has recently returned to Japan on a global tour.

According to his philosophy, the only people who can get away with lying to clients are doctors and bartenders.

The anime series BARTENDER Glass of God follows Ryuu, a bartender who can read his customers’ minds and help them overcome their problems by giving them a drink and a lesson buried in their cocktails.

Ryuu’s workplace, the bar Eden Hall, may be found in the fashionable Ginza neighborhood of Tokyo. Customers from all walks of life come here to relax with a drink and forget their concerns.

Ryuu’s ability to create the perfect drink for any occasion, as evidenced by his reputation as the man who always serves the “Glass of the Gods,” is a major story point.

Cast of The Anime

The anime’s premiere date was just confirmed, and we even got a look at some of the voice actors in advance of the premiere.

The anime adaptation of BARTENDER Glass of God will be directed by Ryoichi Kuraya, written by Mariko Kunisawa, and designed and animated under the supervision of Yoichi Ueda.

I’m excited to see who else will be a part of the animated cast now that I know River will be in charge of production.

In addition, Suntory Holdings Limited, a Japanese liquor corporation with over a century of experience, has agreed to work with the production and give its expertise to make sure the cocktails included in the series are accurate.

Everyone, get ready for a high-quality performance!

Where Can You Watch?

I can’t wait to try the cocktails Ryuu invents and hear his sage advice for patrons.

The April 2024 premiere of BARTENDER: Glass of God has been scheduled. Crunchyroll users throughout the Americas, Europe, Africa, Oceania, Central America, South America, the Middle East, and the Commonwealth of Independent States will be able to watch it.

It’s possible that additional streaming services will follow suit, but for the time being, we’ll have to wait for official word.

I can’t wait until I have a whole weekend to sit down and watch this amazing anime.

Araki Joh and Kenji Nagatomo are the creators of the manga series Bartender. Serialization began in 2004, and it concluded in 2011. Its anime adaptation aired for 11 episodes in 2006.

Bartender Ryu Sasakura has been dubbed a “genius” for his uncanny ability to put his patrons at ease with a few well-placed drinks and soothing remarks. Whatever the circumstances, he always succeeds in helping them make peace with themselves.
