‘Bastard!!’ Anime’s Official Website Unveils Exciting Key Art for the Show
The most powerful wizard with an unhinged personality and a thirst to take over the world might sound like the big bad villain, but Bastard!! portrays such a character as the protagonist and humankind’s savior.
Dark Schneider has finally awakened (again) in all his glory for Netflix’s upcoming adaptation of the Bastard!! manga.
Fans worldwide have long awaited an anime that did justice to the story, and we’re finally getting it. So it’s pretty obvious that our excitement is off the charts.
Netflix took on the job of adapting one of the craziest manga from the 80s and has revealed an equally hair-raising key visual for it.
Bastard!! -Heavy Metal, Dark Fantasy- anime is slated to make its global debut on the platform on June 30.
The visual features the wizard Dark Schneider in the center with Tia Noto Yoko, and on his left is Princess Sheila of Metallicana. On Schneider’s right are two of the Four Divine Kings, Ninja Master Gara, and Thunder Empress Arshes Nei.
In the background, we get a faded glimpse of the God of War Anthrasax, and below him are the remaining two Four Divine Kings, Kall-Su and Dark Priest Abigail. If you look closely beside Tia, we can also see Lars in his baby dragon form.
Everyone is in their fighting stance and ready for battle, while Schneider has his characteristic maniacal laugh plastered on his face.
Moreover, the franchise has also revealed the anime’s ending theme song ‘Blessless’ by Tielle. The song will be released soon, and I can’t wait to see what sort of sick beats they come up with.
‘Bastard!!’ Previews First Five Episodes of Anime With a Wild New Teaser
The anime will be of 24-episodes, and I can only imagine how all of us will be holding our breaths till the last one.
Hopefully, it doesn’t look like Netflix will ruin this, and if it does, the company will have to suffer the wrath of some highly disappointing fans.
